Training
At Saku dojo we teach according to the Shorin-Ryu Shorinkan syllabus and follow a belt ranking system to asses students and allow them to progress according to their learning and skills.
Our training incorporates karate (kata & kumite), kobudo (traditional weaponry) along with budo fitness. Budo fitness is a high impact fitness program that uses fitness drills and skills from the martial arts. It builds both strength and cardio fitness improving core muscles, balance, co-ordination, reaction and instinct.
